Joan congratulations on your new business partner. I love sociologists, they are able to see the big picture so well. As a dog and animal lover myself, I thought your comment that your dogs bark at each other while you two talk was hysterical. Thanks for all you provide via The Publicity Hound and your work. I'm loving it!

Lauren, with all the constant changes at the more than 1 million social media sites, we can't even hope to be able to stay on top of them all.

Our product concentrates on social media strategy, then offers specific tips and tools (including tactics) for implementation. Because it's customized, each person gets their own report and their own formula.

The Mashable blog, which is one of my favorites for keeping abreast of what's happening in social media, featured a thorough and easy-to-understand explanation a few months ago of Twitter lists. You can find it here:

Hi Joan,

Will the Social Media Rx address the new Twitter Lists feature? I'm confused about this and would love some insight!

Thanks,
Lauren Hunter

Thanks, Joan.

Pushing past my comfort zone has been the biggest challenge. Jeanne and I are using about five or six different software and content mananagement programs to make Social Media Rx happen, and the learning curve has been really steep.

Luckily, she's more techno-savvy than I am.

Bobbie, don't worry. Your nonprofit won't have to apply for a special grant to be able to buy Social Media Rx. It's priced so reasonably that just about anyone can afford it.

You'll also find several hundred dollars worth of bonuses that really add value.

Thanks for your kind words, Allen.

Your comment that "I find the information you share (on Twitter) to be incredibly valuable" is exactly what I'm trying to do on that site, and what others should be doing.

I shy away from sharing a lot of personal information that few people would care about, like when I'm headed to the supermarket or walking the dog. Instead, I try to share as many helpful tips, useful articles and others' blog posts that I find valuable.

In our Social Media Rx report, Jeanne and I discuss exactly how much of the conversation on social media sites should be helping other people, vs. explaining what you're doing. Though our suggestions are only guidelines, they've worked well for us.

Jill, whther you're looking for more scuba diving friends, or you simply want to connect with people who are within your industry or both, Social Media Rx will give you hundreds of specific tips on how to to that.

We're almost ready for the launch.

Joan, you always add food for thought to chew and chow down on for hungry marketing and PR appetites. Very motivational too, in fact just quoted you in my Catapult blog. http://annieinthesun.blogspot.com/

I'm glad to hear you have a new partner...I'm sure social networking is giving lots of study fodder for sociologists in this day and age.
