There are several ways to get onto NPR. One of the best ways, as explained when I did the teleseminar on “How to Get Booked on National Public Radio” at http://www.publicityhound.com/publicity-products/marketing-tapes/NPR.htm, you can go to the NPR website at http://www.npr.org and use the search box at the top of the screen to find programs that have featured guests on a certain topic. Then listen to the program. If it’s a good fit for you, you can then pitch your idea.

So how does one get on National Public Radio I wonder? Is it by knowing someone or by sending them some of your work?
